I'm doing a science experiment with magnets and was wondering, do magnets lose their strength over time? Also, what is the most powerful magnet I can buy?

The answer
Most modern magnets do not significantly lose their strength over time unless they are heated. The most powerful magnets available today are usually called "neodymium magnets," actually a compound of iron, neodymium, and boron.
