Anonymous, a 13 year old female from the Internet asks on April 15, 1998,
What is the linear function of a circumference of circle to its diameter? I know the ratio is equal to pi (3.14) but I would like to know its linear function?

The answer
Since C = Circumference = 2 Pi times Radius = Pi times Diameter, I imagine the linear function is C(D) = Pi D.
