Can you hear a bat flap it's wings if it is relatively close say 1-2 meters?

It really depends on the bat - there are over 1000 species. For some of the larger ones in tropical places - then yes for sure. For a little brow bat which is common in Canada you woud likely have to be withing 20-30 cm to hear the wings.
